More and more funeral homes are providing bereavement support for the families that they serve but we are not experts and despite being well meaning, funeral professionals can sometime do more harm than good by getting involved in a topic that is someone else’s area of expertise.

This course will cover some of the popular models and theories of grief and give you a good working knowledge of some of the challenges facing your clients. We can help you to know what is and isn’t appropriate to say and do and will cover the pros and cons of running bereavement support groups, as well as equipping you with a working knowledge of the bereavement support organisations that you can refer your clients to for specialist support to match their type of bereavement.
