What is the Introduction to the Funeral Profession course?

You may be interested in attending a one-day introductory course, led by a National Association of Funeral Directors registered tutor.  This is a rare opportunity to gain an insight into the different career paths available in the funeral profession and to look deeper into the work of the Funeral Director.

The morning session takes in a tour of our funeral home in Beccles, including the coffin workshop, mortuary and care of the vehicle fleet and the afternoon includes a tour of an environmentally friendly cemetery and a look behind the scenes at a local crematorium.   With ample time set aside for questions and answers, this would suit school leavers wondering about an apprenticeship, anyone considering embarking on a career change, or simply someone who has always wanted to find out more.

Course dates for 2020

Course fees are £100 per person, including refreshments and a light lunch.

Whilst most of our training has been adapted to be delivered by Zoom, the content of this training day doesn’t lend itself to being delivered on line, so bookings are temporarily on hold.

Should you wish to register your interest, please do so here and we will contact you as soon as we are able to offer this training again.
